The 2nd edition of the Chippewa Valley Bike Map was developed in 2020 by a team of volunteers and professionals led by Bike Chippewa Valley, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Eau Claire and Altoona, Wisconsin. City streets, county and state highways, town roads, and trails were ridden by project volunteers to assess their bicycling comfort level and safety, and routes were chosen with the help of experienced bicyclists and urban and regional planners.
Free print copies of the map are available at over 50 locations in the Chippewa Valley, including all bike shops.
